If you wish to make your instrument panel removable to store in the warm and dry over Winter, one of these connectors are ideal for running all your wires from the panel to the glider. Often found in modern Schleichers.
Use one of these in conjunction with the matching socket and your required number of male and female connector pins to pass your main power lines and ancillaries such as PTT, speakers, microphones, temperature probe, remote stick wires etc from the panel to the glider.
